All About Me
PAC created the “All About Me” template to help students, families, and educators better understand the whole child—not just their academic needs, but their strengths, interests, communication style, and supports that help them succeed. This resource is designed to give students and families a voice in sharing what helps them feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
Families often find this template helpful to share at the beginning of the school year, when a child is transitioning to a new school or teacher, or in preparation for IEP or 504 meetings. It can help educators quickly learn important information about a student so they can better support them in the classroom.
Older students, especially those in middle school and high school, can use the template as a guide to create a document for themselves. This can be a great opportunity for students to advocate for their needs, share their strengths, and explain what helps them learn best.
Students and families can share the completed template with teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and other members of their educational team. Some families and students also choose to share parts of it with peers to help classmates better understand differences in learning styles, communication, or sensory needs. By increasing understanding, we can help build more inclusive and supportive school communities for all students
